A true warrior doesn't need any technology to strengthen himself.
A "true warrior" utilizes that which he has access to to make him stronger, be it simple or complex. There's no ego. A "true warrior" looks for as many ways in which he can strengthen himself as possible, he doesn't discrimminate. Nothing wrong with his way, at all.
Seriously though, the man's a very good source of information for building power.
