Whatever I May Roam is pure metal. Some kind of metal anthem for me... It's more progressive than song as Escape and Trapped Under Ice. Ok, it's not thrash, get over it. This is HEAVY METAL and really good one.

I also agree, screaming is a bunch of crap, and its not metal. screaming into a mic and playing heavy chords is not metal, this is metal! Metal is an art, and Metallica has got it down. I don't even understand why people like screamo.
This song is awesome! The whole black album was awesome then and awesome now!
