No remake can ever hold up to Ella's version. An absolutely brilliant song with an absolutely brilliant voice, not to mention Armstrong, who is just as talented a musician.

The #1 reason I love jazz is the variety of thoughts that can be found in one song. There is some good stuff the comes out now, but most of it can't top the blending and ingenuity found in say Coltrane's Afro Blue. Jazz is great because even just the percussionist soloing is better than any synthetic beat.
