i like both avril and shakira but its obvious shakira is more famous and wealthier than avril. Shakira has an international fan base. She sings in several languages and that allows her to connect with more people. Shakira is either enjoying her money or writing/working on a new album.

i totally agree with you. I know she looks hoter, but back then it really seemed like she was more concerned about having a brain than just looking good.
