Edgar Froese was not inspired by PF,since he lives in a planet of his own and one of the few he has admired has been Salvador Dali (he spent a summer with him back in 1967). Edgar plays continously (41 years now). He fired Christopher Franke in 1988 (after Live Miles), after 16 years of non stop, just because he asked for a break. If you want to go further, I suggest you vist the TD´s official site - Edgar Froese does not listen to TD´s records ever again after they are published.

thanks for your info my friend Edgar Froese is a brilliant musician as are the other Band members who have graced the stage with them Klaus Schultze from the early day's another and as you i have read from biograph's that PF was a big influence i think the early part of this track bears that out .

My guess is that it (and I could very well be wrong) footage that wound up on the cutting room floor when Cosmos was produced in 1979-80. I have it on DVD and one of the segements is scored with "A Dali-esque Sleep Fuse", which is derived from Edgar Froese's solo album, "Stuntman".

About Pink Foyd's influence on Cyclone:
Madrigal Meridian is great track as such, but it is more typically TD than Pink Floyd.
Far better example of Floydian influence is Bent Cold Sidewalk, which sounds almost as if Floyds themselves made it.
Anyway, as such, this album is a true border between sound of 70's and the sound of 80's and further.
