Umm are you kidding ...( 2 months ago by Strebloa)
Umm are you kidding me? This was not made before color came out. It was shot in 1990 on a 16mm camera with black and white film. Rodriguez shot this for like 800 bucks he couldn't afford color film... This short is dope, it won alot of film festivals for Rodriguez giving him money to make "El Mariachi"... The rest of the money came from him "selling his body to science"

Well sorry Mr. I know everything thing about Robert Rodriguez. And I didn't say anything about not liking the film. And he Got $3,000 from his days as a Lab Rat. So most of the money he spent on El Mariachi was from his Lab rat days. $800 bucks where'd that come from?

I never said anything about you not liking the short either... I was mostly correcting you on your ridiculous mistake; saying that this short was made "Before color came out."...Geeze, relax Mr. I know everything about the history of film... And if you actually read what I wrote, I said that 800 bucks was how much he made "bedhead" for. Its in his book "Rebel Without a Crew" which is a great read.

i don't think he shot this on a 16mm camera. I think he shot on Digital Video. During production for "El Mariachi" he said his first time using a 16mm camera was then. Read his Book!

Moron... It was shot on a 16mm hands down. There was no digital camera in the world at that time that had this type of depth of field and quality. PLUS there is visible dust&scratches. In the book he says that it was his first time using an "Arriflex 16" Which is a pretty top notch 16mm camera. Totally different from the 16mm used in "bedhead". Bedhead cost him 800 bucks. He had his own actors, No crew, a borrowed cam, and his own props. The only cost he had was the Film and Developing.
