I was once part of this pointless war but it got waaay to out of hand 4 me....maybe hopefully one day if sega will give us a good sonc game...and in fact they have with "Sonic Cronicals"....at least its not too bad, I love it!
as hard as it might be for people to believe what I am about to say and I don't blame you but hear me out.
If we focuss on gameplay....and then imporve other stuff IN TIME....

the last good sonic game i heard of was sonic adventure 2 battle as far as gameplay, and the chao(what happened to the chao?) where in that one and i do not care about the voices, i mean as long as they fit remotly, i mean outside of sonic heros the usual two groups of voice actors are pretty good comparative i mean in sonic heros, i hate ALL of the flight charaters, tails, cream, and charmy, were irritating as nails on a chalk board, and rouge just wasnt rouge

yea those so-called "true sonic fans" are the reason why sonic sucks now. The whole e-war is why I took my Sonic voice rant down. It makes me sad as well, I've loved Sonic since I was two years old. I prefer Ryan Drummond but I've also come to accept Jason Griffith.

Oh god, I so totally agree with you here. These damn fanboys constantly argue over unimportant matters because that love Sonic so much. I mean, the gameplay is the most important, and those who buy foreign versions of the Sonic games just so that dont hear the 4Kids actors are just sad muppets. As much as I hate 4Kids, their voicing is not important to a game, the gameplay is the biggest importance.

Darkness, I share the exact same feelings. I've played all but maybe two of the sonic games to date, and the voiceacting always seemed tolerable at the least. I'm very tired of sega releasing these crappy sonic games, and I was very disapointed with sonic next-gen.

Okay, I have to say this too. Jason Griffith has been voice acting Sonic for 3 DAMN YEARS! And they aren't getting fucking over it!! I also thought that Sonic Unleashed would end the constant bitching about the fact that sonic games are now in 3D because it switches from 3D to 2D in Day levels. IT DIDN'T. PEOPLE ARE NOW BITCHING ABOUT THE WEREHOG. *facepalm* i really feel sorry for Sega and Sonic Team for their shitty Fan Base
