I'm a Brit and and not at all a Bush supporter, but what you said is completely unfounded and untrue. Firstly, the USA gets almost 90% of it's crude oil from Canada, they don't need the Middle East, Europe does, but the US doesnt. Secondly, when you're elected President in the US your relinquish all ownership rights of companies and real estate.
That's not to say that Bush is not an asshole, I think he probably is.
