This is a strange suggestion to me, he is effectively advocating ranging out again, which puts him in exactly the same position as originally, seems to me less to do with a fight, and more to do with maybe a sports point system?

You want to know the best way to stop a lead fighter? Become the lead fighter. Dumbass. If he steps past that "barrier", then go after him and don't wait for him to come to you. Pretty simple. Pretending to hit him and moving away does nothing but postpone the inevitable.

Hey, just because you learned martial arts from youtube videos and thus are a slave to whatever you hear. Doesn't mean i did, or do. You clearly can't rap your head around the fact that i'm right and his approach to fighting is a good way to get beat. You have to be in control of the fight and know how to counter. I personally, will lead off and put the person on the defensive and if they get a chance to come back, i will counter and continue going after them. Waiting to dodge a punch is stupid.

This is reallyl an advanced video. This supposes you already know basic defenses and is for advanced fighters, not those still grasping at basics. He actually told quite a bit and is very correct, especially about firing and stepping off the line. If you look, it's not about simple defense, but about fighting strategy.
