ok honestly this sounds like a remix. It sounds slowed down. It really does. Even normal music doesn't have this slow of a beat and if you listen to the band they actually have faster beats then this

It sounds slow because you are used to the original. It's the same with anything.
Play a song you dont know at about 1.5 speed, not enough to distort it loads, then play it at normal seed and it will seem laged.
Plus, I don't know if you have noticed this simple fact, but people don't usualy call the original a remix, I.E "speedycake remix", as it's name is.

Why else would the fast version be called the
'Speedycake Remix'? That implies that it isn't the original, and that it would also be "speedier" than the original version of the song. Aside from that, there is documentation on Wikipedia and other sites that also says that there was an original, and that a remix was made, and that just a sped up version of the original. I think we can trust that this is the original song.

i think we've established that this is the original, but it has to be said that it seriously wouldnt be as popular if someone hadnt sped it up. or at least thats what i think, it just sounds more upbeat (obv) and kinda, i dunno just ":D"ier??? and yeah i dont get why it was called a remix, it aint hard to make a song faster -.-
