Well yeah obviously, and the hints of who he is were pretty blatant throughout the manga. But even if the hints were always there he was "officially" revealed to be Dracula towards the finale of the manga.

The name Dracula is from Drac (that meens devil in romanian). Vlad Tepes , he is named Dracula ( by some assholes)cuz' he killed a lot of bad people (that is in Romania). The people named Vlads dad ,,Drac" cuz he killed people at his time too.Now, the people named Vlad ,,Dracula" cuz it cames from Drac, the name of his dad. But some stupid americans named him Dracula cuz ,, He is a VAMPIRE!!!"

Plus Hellsing is a manga based on a fictional character that Bram Stoker created with a dead Romanian noble with a penchant for impaling as partial inspiration. Fiction is fiction is fiction. The guy that made Hellsing decided to follow Stoker's concept of Dracula, so Alucard is Vlad Treps/Vlad Dracula/Vlad the Impaler/etc. That's all there is to it.

What does it matter. there is no proof that Alucard is Dracula. The closest he gets to mentioning the word Dracula is when he says "My name is an enigma as well". That could mean he is THE Dracula, A guy known as Dracula for some time, Or that his name is a homage to the ACTUAL Dracula.

In the TV anime no, but in the manga yes, it does. Hellsing chapter 59, page 19 is where Alucard is called Dracula for the first time and subsequent chapter go on to confirm it.

They won't have it. Darkhorse (the guys that publish Hellsing in the US) made onemanga take it down, so you'll have to go elsewhere. mangahut is a good place to go.
