2) No idea why T-Bone played at that odd angle but the only thing I can see is...easier to see what you're doing?? But from the point of view of playing, I can't see it. I play and it must be awkward, but people get used to all kinds of things and make it work. Have you ever seen Jeff Healey, who plays it on his lap, making the left-hand fingering 'impossible'. Individual approach.
He's so original! You can tel it's him from the very first note he plays.
