Video Description:
This Canadian made vehicle has been well cared for and maintained. It has power steering, power brakes, and automatic transmission.
Body: is in sound; straight condition with no visible signs of rust. The paint is in very good overall condition with the rocker panels rust proofed and the car undercoated at some time. The convertible soft top is new; the original convertible top protective cover is in good condition. There is a small dent on the left side of the rear bumper and trunk chrome trim. The trunk is in good condition. There are 4 novelty lights behind the front grill but are not presently connected. It also has an additional horn added to its original factory installed dual horn setup; plus an add-on backup warning alarm.
Interior: the seats have all been professionally recovered; the lower door kick panel coverings and carpeting are all new. The seat belts are showing their age. It has the original left and right side mirrors, heater, original all transistor radio, column mounted shifter, and add-on under dash oil/amp/temp gauge pack.
Glass: is all excellent.
Engine: was replaced with a newer 283 C.I.D. Pontiac motor in 1969; it was rebuilt then and now has about 5,000 miles on it. It is running excellent. It has a block heater and a newer fuel pump.
Transmission: it has an aluminum Powerglide automatic transmission.
Undercarriage: the frame is in straight original condition. The suspension is all in good working condition, the front suspension has been rebuilt.
Wheels/Tires: Jet Radial General HR 78.14 white walls in very good condition. Factory steel wheels with the original full disc covers in very good condition. It has a full size spare tire in the trunk.
All the electrical and mechanical components are in good working condition.

| Canadian Pontiacs had Chevrolet engines. The body outer sheet metal looked like a Pontiac but the underbody and frame were Chevrolet. GM produced the 283 from 1957 until 1967. It was replaced by the 307 in '68 |
