I'm baffled by the comments that say Hugh Laurie is an extrovert just because he's an actor. I've found that people act because it allows them to very briefly be people that they would never have the courage or confidence to be in real life.
And folks, Hugh Laurie has been saying for 20+ YEARS that he lacks self-confidence and prefers privacy to the limelight, and is very shy. But he gets paid to play a confident trouble-making genius. Acting doesn't magically make you a different person.

Actually, this time the psychic was extremely lucky in his guesswork (or maybe he cheated).
Of course that is going to happen at random every so often.
This is why it is better to look at the science behind it, or total lack thereof, rather than such dubious statistics.

James Randi is great. Hugh looks just plain embarrassed to be there and Stephen seems to be trying very hard not to laugh at this astrology guy. I don't blame him.

Since when does an Astrologer have to dress like in ancient Tibetan child? He looks like an idiot. Every mystic thinks they have to dress odd, like their power somehow comes from the clothing. It just shows you how full of crap they are. Religious people included.

My happiness is certainly impacted by the position of the planets. I take great pleasure from viewing them through various instruments. The star signs can be useful in this regard in saying where the planets are. I predict awesome photography in virgo. :)

As far as I see astrology says that if that planet's over there then this happens, just because it's over there, there's no direct interaction. Same with Feng Shui.

It's the most ridiculous form of "science" and the people who honestly believe in it should be shipped to a special farm where they can do slave work, operating large machines that power the world's street lights through a series of giant hamster wheels.

Hey nerddog, you are correct. Looking at the star signs is a quick way of seeing which constellations are opposite the sun, the dates of the signs are a decent enough indicator, and available in an everyday newspaper. Sometimes almanacks and the like say "Neptune enters Saggitarius" or something like that. If we are 4-8 months wide of Saggitarius being the current sign we might be able to accurately predict me finding a dark spot, telescope and camera in hand.

I'm thinking what the astrologer says about Hugh Laurie is a piece of rubbish acutally, even though I'm usually not so sceptic to these sort of things, nor extremely welcoming.
He's a very timid person, so I doubt he likes the limelight. It's quite perfect description though of Stephen Fry, who I think has less problems with limelight. Hugh Laurie has never liked being plainly himself on TV, he usually looks slightly uncomfortable or embarrased doing interviews.

Feng Shui is more psychology than a fact.
Its actually a placebo effect.
So in a sense, feng shui makes more sense than astrology as you can change this according to feng shui and it does change your state of mind.
